The Bachata Geneva Festival – “The Festival of Nations” is an international dance event dedicated to bachata, welcoming participants from more than 70 countries.
Held for the first time at Palexpo Geneva, from 8 to 12 October 2026, the festival positions Geneva as a global meeting point for bachata, a dance and musical expression originating in the Dominican Republic and recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Over four days, the programme includes international dance workshops, day and night social events with renowned DJs, and the World Finals of the Bachata Social World Cup, featuring top dancers qualified through competitions worldwide.
The event is open to dancers, professionals and bachata enthusiasts from around the world.
