Palexpo strengthens accessibility with self-service wheelchairs
To improve the welcome and comfort of all its visitors, Palexpo now provides self-service wheelchairs within its venue.
This service allows people experiencing temporary or occasional mobility difficulties to move around the site more easily and independently. The wheelchairs are available directly on-site via a dedicated station located in Palexpo’s entrance hall, facilitating movement during events.
With this initiative, Palexpo reaffirms its commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and the
continuous improvement of the visitor experience by offering concrete solutions tailored to
everyone’s needs.
Deployed by the company Wheelshare, this system is the first of its kind in Switzerland.
