Access & Parking
The Palexpo site is located at a railway and road traffic hub in the very heart of Europe, just a 10-minute walk from Geneva Airport and its railway station and a 15-minute bus ride from the city centre. Trains operating at regular intervals take only 10 minutes to run between the airport and the centre.
No fewer than 2,800 parking spaces are available to visitors and exhibitors directly on the Palexpo site. The P12 car park also has designated disabled parking.
To encourage the use of electric cars, four recharging points (fast charge 20 kW) for electric vehicles have been installed in car park P12 (level -1). They are available to SIG-MOVE network subscribers as well as other visitors. Payment can be made by bank card or invoice, depending on users’ preferences and status.
USING CAR SHARING
www.e-covoiturage.ch is a website where drivers and passengers can contact each other to arrange journeys together, so saving them both money and helping the environment.
The train is an easy and hassle-free way of getting to Palexpo, allowing you to avoid the Geneva traffic jams. Geneva Airport Station is just a three-minute walk from Palexpo Exhibition Hall 7.
