| | EPHJ-EPMT-SMT: records for its premiere at Palexpo |

 | The trade show EPHJ-EPMT-SMT, which is devoted to sub-contracting and research for the watchmaking, micro-technology and medtech sectors, was being held at Palexpo for the first time. It was a genuine success, with more than 14,000 visitors – a 30% increase – and 664 exhibitors, easily beating all its records.
Olivier Saenger and André Colard, the co-founders of the Show, described the 2012 edition as the “finest in its whole history”.
In their opinion, Palexpo’s reputation greatly contributed to this success. “We registered many visitors from the emerging markets. EPHJ’s reputation now far transcends our borders”.
The “Exhibitors’ Grand Prix”, which was being awarded for the first time, was won by David Heriban, CEO of the start-up Percipio Robotics, based in the Jura and specializing in the production of micro-grippers and robotic structures.
A large proportion of the exhibitors at the 2012 edition have already confirmed they will be present at the next event, scheduled for June 11 to 14, 2013 at Palexpo.
