Motor Show: rich, green, sporting and playful

All the signs are that the 79th International Motor Show (March 5 to 15) will be a success, despite the current economic situation. With a plethora of premieres unveiled by the major brands, which are all present, a new green Pavilion featuring solely electric cars and alternative means of propulsion, a retrospective Formula 1 exhibition and a competition Pole offering numerous attractions in Hall 71.

All the major manufacturers will be present at the great annual spring meeting and will unveil more than 85 world and European premieres in the private cars sector alone. This great global automotive showcase will thus enable visitors to discover the most recent vehicles and the prototypes that prefigure the car of tomorrow.

The new green Pavilion, which will be installed for the first time in Hall 3, will display only electric and alternative-propulsion cars, in addition to those presented on many manufacturers' stands.

In Hall 1 a retrospective exhibition will feature Formula 1 racing cars from the last twenty years. A chance to dream but also an opportunity to observe the latest technological advances of this branch of the industry.

Hall 71, which came into operation for the first time last year, will be displaying many competition-related attractions, including an electric go-carting circuit, many video games and aerial photographs of competitions.
