With regard to transport, the location of GENEVA PALEXPO itself has favoured the integration of public transport: airport, railway station, bus station (access plan).

An intermediate parking area (P49) close to the freight centre at the airport was created for lorries several years ago to improve logistics when assembling/dismantling exhibitions and to restrict pollution and noise around the buildings.

An electrical charge port has been installed for two-wheel vehicles in the parking area reserved for these and may be used free of charge.


Energy

The choice of using electricity 100% generated by our country’s hydro power facilities for standard power supply to installations.

The installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof of hall 6, producing electrical power equivalent to the annual consumption of 20 households.

All the staff have been aware for a long time of the importance of sustainable development, of energy conservation and of savings resulting from the sorting and recovery of waste from offices and workshops. Information displays draw attention to simple habits that will help achieve these objectives on a daily basis.
