| The largest photovoltaic power plant in Switzerland will be installed by Geneva Industrial Services (SIG) on the halls of Palexpo. This project is the result of cooperation between SIG and Palexpo focussing on a common goal: to increase renewable energy production in Geneva, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development recommended by the Canton. Once completed, the plant will be able to cover the annual electricity requirements of 1,200 households. |

| Palexpo: a balanced 2010 financial year and a gratifying outlook |
|
| Palexpo has announced a result for the 2010 financial year totally in line with its budget forecasts: turnover totalled CHF 53,673,317 and net earnings were balanced, that is, surplus income of CHF 49,588. Around 5,150 exhibitors and 1,290,000 visitors contributed to this good result. The overall economic spin-offs for the canton of Geneva have been evaluated at CHF 545 million and the media coverage on all five continents contributed to Geneva’s international reputation. |
