2009 financial year: Palexpo manages to post a good result
In a severely shaken global economic environment, Palexpo exceeded its budget forecasts with a turnover of CHF 54,650,000, and net earnings of CHF 926,000. Around 4,800 exhibitors - more than 40% of whom were from abroad - and 1,351,000 visitors contributed to this good result. The overall economic spin-offs for the canton of Geneva have been evaluated at CHF 524 million and the media coverage on all five continents contributed to Geneva’s international reputation.

The Swiss Tuning Show 2010: an edition without precedent!
An erudite combination of exhibitions from professionals in the field, presentations of clubs coming from all over Europe, and the gathering of individual owners of customised vehicles will once again be the key to the success of the Swiss Tuning Show. A programme of special events will add spice to this cocktail. The 4th edition of this Show will take place in Halls 5 and 6 and on the esplanade of Palexpo during the weekend of May 22-23 2010.

Le Salon du livre et artbygenève plébiscités par le public
Le 24e Salon international du livre et de la presse, ses salons parallèles (africain et de l’étudiant) ainsi qu’artbygenève ont à nouveau attiré près de 100'000 visiteurs en 5 jours: un nouveau plébiscite de la part du public. La majorité des 750 exposants sont satisfaits tant de la qualité du public qui a favorisé les résultats des ventes que de celle de l’organisation.

The 80th Geneva International Motor Show : A positive indicator for the current and future world of the automobile
The automobile industry presented a Geneva International Motor Show more glittering and innovative than ever. After a very difficult 2009, the manufacturers have demonstrated a tremendous capacity to adapt with their presentation of more than one hundred world and European premiers, providing great pleasure to the large number of media representatives and the visiting public who, once again, were very appreciative of the welcoming and quality atmosphere of the event. This 80th edition finished with very positive results, and the dates for next year have already been fixed for March 3-13, 2011.
